Tea Testing- All about Oolong tea

This past weekend we attented the Tea Festival at the Storrier Stearns Japanese garden; we tried over 10 different variations of Oolong tea and matcha tea and learn anout their process; we also made some awesome friends!

I didn't know this tea can vary so widely in flavor! all depending on the horticulture and style of production; one tasted like smoked honey another tasted like exquisite flowers and another one like tobacco!!! 

We also participated in a Gongfu tea ceremony, it was very delicate and spiritual and involves the ritualized preparation and presentation of tea, meant to be exclusive to political and military elites in the past, and now popular with tea connoisseurs.

 Loved this place and had so much fun, hopefully will be attending more events like this! 🙌🏼🌱🙏🏼🍵
